Living Life with Purpose

As life swirls around us, it is so hard to step back and observe the beautiful sites that make this life worth living. We get caught up in life’s doldrums- whether it's the kids fighting, trying to get out the door on time, getting dinner on the table, keeping up with work demands…and the list goes on and on and on.
And with all this ‘life’ going on, how can we step back and enjoy the kids before they grow up and out on their own? Or take time away from laundry lists of chores to enjoy a hobby?
I don’t have the answers, but am hoping that by taking a few minutes a day to write on this blog, I can live each day with more purpose.

Purposefully Living each day as if it was my last to smell my Farmhouse Apple candle that provides a homey environment for me to cook nutritious meals for my family.
Purposefully Living each day as if it was my last to hear my munchins laughing and yelling, creating the (crazy) bond that only siblings can understand.
Purposefully Living each day as if it was my last to feel the scruff of my dear husband's winter beard on my cheek, reminding me that I’m not in this alone.

So, I charge you to step back today, and appreciate the wonder around you…the wonder of every day…
